What's in a name? Know what you're buying before you check out.
Please be aware that some of our prints have a border which may include the artist's name, the title of the picture and other wording. The 'paper size' dimensions (shown beneath each image) refer to the full print, including any border. The 'image size' dimensions refer to the image alone.
Original
Done by the artist's own fair hand, usually one-of-a-kind.
Reproduction Print
A copy or facsimile of an original work: that is, not the real McCoy. Reproductions can be limited, which means they are part of a finite series, or they can be open-ended which means there's no limit to the number that can be produced.
Reproduction Photograph
A copy or facsimile of a photograph: that is, not a print from the original negative.
Poster
An image produced mainly for advertising purposes, such as a movie or theatre poster.
Cast Limestone or Sandstone
A cold-cast process for sculpture that combines finely ground limestone or sandstone with a bonding resin in a 50:50 ratio.
Limited Edition Print
A limited series of impressions of a given image, usually fewer than 300, each signed and numbered by the artist. Limited edition prints can be made in several ways including
Silk screen
Using a thin coating of wax, the artist creates an image on a fine mesh screen, often made of silk. When ink is forced though the screen, it creates an impression of the original image on paper or fabric.
Etching
Using a special needle, the artist draws onto a metal plate coated with wax. When the plate is submerged in an acid bath, the chemical bites through the metal where the wax has been removed, leaving an impression of the artist's drawing. Once the plate is cleaned of wax, the artist rolls ink onto it, then uses it to make impressions on paper.
Lithograph
Using a greasy crayon, the artist first draws an image on a stone, metal or plastic plate, then wets this plate with water. When ink is applied to the wet plate, it clings to the crayon marks and rolls off the unmarked surfaces, creating an impression of the original drawing when pressed on paper. For coloured lithographs, separate plates are prepared for each colour.

Shipping and Delivery
Item availability
We are able to offer over 60,000 images thanks to our partnerships with Fine Art Publishers around the world. We try very hard to ensure that all of the prints and sculptures shown on the site are readily available. Occasionally however, a particular item may be temporarily out of stock. In this case we will ship what we can and keep the rest on back-order for you, unless you tell us otherwise.
Dispatch times
Expected dispatch times may be found by clicking on the 'zoom' option that accompanies each print or sculpture. Please note that the 'usually ships in' period refers to the number of days until we expect your order to leave our UK warehouse. Deliveries to continental U.S. addresses should arrive between 5 or 10 working days after this. We also have an Express Service for unframed print orders. For a small supplement we can ship with UPS, which is a 3 - 5 working day service.
The expected dispatch time for orders with more than one item will be calculated from the item with the longest dispatch time - prints and sculptures that originate from our overseas partners naturally take a little more time. Once we have your prints in house, we aim to frame and dispatch within two working days.

Shipping Costs - U.S.A.
Our shipping and handling charges for continental U.S. orders are $4.95 for unframed items and $14.95 for framed items and sculpture. This charge is per order, regardless of how many items ordered. Unfortunately, for framed items we have to pass on surcharges that our carriers impose for some off-shore locations.
Shipping Costs - Rest of the World
In general, Easyart shipping costs will be determined by:
- What type of product your order contains.
- The total weight of framed prints or quantity of unframed prints.
- The destination country of the shipment.
Please note that unframed prints where the shortest dimension is greater than 33 inches, are sent by courier. The exact calculated shipping cost for your order will be displayed during the checkout process.

P.O. Boxes
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Taxes
UK and EU customers will be charged the standard rate of VAT. Other customers will not be charged tax.
Duty
Customers receiving goods outside the UK may be liable for duty charges levied in their own country. If this happens, it's a matter between you and the customs men (and women): you are responsible for any duty owed.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. Simply send us an email customercare@easyart.com with 'Order Cancellation' in the subject line. Don't forget to tell us your order number!
Returns
At Easyart we always do our best to provide a terrific product. We hope you'll be thrilled with everything you order from us. At the same time, we realise that even we can't please all of the people all of the time!
Our returns policy is simple: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, return it to us within 14 days for replacement or a full refund. Please note that we're not able to offer different goods in exchange for the ones you return: It simply makes life too complicated. If you want to order something else, please just order afresh from the website.
We also ask that if you are taking advantage of this offer you do so with careful thought and in genuine emergencies only. This is not intended to enable people deliberately to over-order so that they can view products with the intention of keeping some and returning others. Also please note that, in the case of framed pictures, we will have gone to a lot of trouble to make your frames exactly to your specifications, and they will not be re-usable for any other purpose.
To make sending things back as painless as possible, we've designed our returns procedure to be quick and easy.
Returns procedure
- Fill out the information on the Returns Form, E-mail Customer Care or call (800)464-9452 (4am - 1pm EST), quoting your order number and reason for the return.
- As soon as we receive your Returns Form or notification, we will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to return your order to us.
- Once we receive your returned order, we will replace or refund as required. Refunds are normally processed within 7 days, but please allow 28 days.
Please Note:
- Goods must be returned in good condition, carefully repacked in the original packaging
- The Easyart '14 day guarantee' does not apply to any business customers. We are however, able to offer a sample service for mouldings, mounts etc. This is to ensure that the product we supply, fully meets our customers expectation. Our guarantee for such orders therefore only covers faulty workmanship or damage whilst in transit.
- We cannot unfortunately, refund shipping costs for orders delivered outside the UK, unless the product is faulty or damaged.

If for any reason you have a complaint about our service, please either call our Customer Care team on (800)464-9452 (4am - 1pm EST), or e-mail us at customercare@easyart.com and we will do our best to make you happy again! We aim to respond to all complaints within 1 working day, but in any event it will certainly be within 5.
